Tour Information: During the tour, we will visit three local food buyers in Eastern Kentucky. The tour will include a visit to Jackson Independent Schools, Hop's, and Lionheart Local. Buyer Tours allow growers and producers to get a behind-the-scenes look at what happens at these various marketplaces. Attendees can ask questions, talk with buyers, and get first-hand experience with what it is like to sell to a restaurant, grocery/retail store, or farm-to-school buyer.
