MarketReady + The Food Connection Buyer Tour: Eastern Kentucky

Tour Information: During the tour, we will visit three local food buyers in Eastern Kentucky. The tour will include a visit to Jackson Independent Schools, Hop's, and Lionheart Local.

Buyer Tours allow growers and producers to get a behind-the-scenes look at what happens at these various marketplaces. Attendees can ask questions, talk with buyers, and get first-hand experience with what it is like to sell to a restaurant, grocery/retail store, or farm-to-school buyer.

Date & Time: Thursday, September 10 @ 10:00 AM - 3:00 PM EST.

Logistics: The tour will start at our first tour stop. The tour will begin promptly at 10 am. Attendees are responsible for transportation to and from each stop, unless they make arrangements with Savannah Columbia prior to the tour. Lunch will be provided and sourced from a local restaurant. We will end the tour at our last stop at 3 pm.

Cost: This event is free of charge but does require an RSVP. Because this tour is limited on available seats -- make sure to secure your spot today! RSVP via the webform below. You MUST RSVP by September 8th. The webform will close at 4:00 pm on Tuesday, September 8th.
