Join us for the MarketReady Producer Training: Louisville
Training Information: The MarketReady Producer Training Program is an educational program for farmers and producers, processors, county extension agents, or anyone interested in selling their farm products (fresh produce, value-added items, etc.) to restaurants, grocery stores, schools, and/or wholesale distributors.
This national program, developed by the University of Kentucky's Cooperative Extension Service, provides participants with tools for business success. After attending this training, farmers and producers should possess a sense of assurance regarding the expectations set forth by potential buyers (restaurants, grocers, schools, etc.). This program provides extension agents with the knowledge and tools to assist farmers and producers in their county interested in selling to restaurants, grocery stores, food service directors, and/or wholesale distributors.
Below, you may register for the May 8th training date in Louisville, Kentucky. This event will include the MarketReady Producer Training Program material, a complimentary lunch, and a Buyer Panel! We will also have our partner organizations on-site to provide resources and a shoutout about the technical assistance they provide.
This training will be limited to 25 participants -- so be sure to register soon! You MUST register by Monday, May 6th. The webform will close promptly at 4:00 PM EST on Monday, May 6th.
