We want to connect local food buyers with local food producers, so join us for our Buyer Tour in Northern Kentucky!
What is a Buyer Tour? Buyer Tours help connect local food buyers with local food producers. Buyer Tours allow growers and producers to get a behind-the-scenes look at what happens at marketplaces such as retail stores, locally sourced restaurants, school foodservice, and local food distributors. Attendees can ask questions, talk with buyers, and receive first-hand knowledge about what it is like to sell to a restaurant, distributor, or a local retail opportunity.
Tour Information: During the tour, we will visit three local food buyers in Northern Kentucky. The tour will include a visit to the Ag Complex in Campbell County with food service directors interested in farm-to-school, The Standard Covington (a restaurant interested in sourcing local food), and What Chefs Want (a distributor of local food).
Date & Time: Thursday, October 29 @ 10:00 AM - 3:30 PM EST.
Logistics: The tour will start at our first tour stop. The tour will begin promptly at 10 AM. Attendees are responsible for transportation to and from each stop, unless they make arrangements with Savannah Columbia prior to the tour. Lunch will be provided and sourced from a local restaurant. We will end the tour at our last stop at 3:30 PM.

Cost: This event is free of charge but does require an RSVP. Register via the webform below. You MUST register by October 27th. The webform will close at 4:00 pm on Tuesday, October 27th.
