Training Information: The MarketReady Producer Training Program is an educational program for farmers, producers, processors, county extension agents, or anyone interested in selling their farm products (fresh produce, value-added items, etc.) to restaurants, grocery stores, schools, and/or wholesale distributors.

This national program, developed by the University of Kentucky's Cooperative Extension Service, provides participants with tools for business success. After attending this training, farmers and producers should possess a sense of assurance regarding the expectations set forth by potential buyers (restaurants, grocers, schools, etc.). This program provides extension agents with the knowledge and tools to assist farmers and producers in their county interested in selling to restaurants, grocery stores, food service directors, and/or wholesale distributors.

This training is specific to value-added dairy producers. Our goal is to educate value-added dairy producers interested in expanding their business and products into wholesale, retail, and restaurant markets. Whether you make ice cream, cheese, soaps, or lotions, this training is the perfect fit for you!
