Training Information: The MarketReady Adv. Topic: Quality Assurance & Food Safety is a follow-up training that takes a deep dive into the Quality Assurance & Food Safety business functions. Quality Assurance & Food Safety are very important parts of your farm business. Practicing food safety techniques ensures the quality and shelf-life of your products. Quality assurance techniques can help ensure you are giving the best product to your customers.
This virtual Adv. Topic will focus on frequently asked questions about quality assurance & food safety, feature Bryan Brady from Cultivate Kentucky and staff members from the University's Food Systems Innovation Center [FSIC] as our special industry guest speakers, and have a portion of time dedicated to questions from participants and/or open conversations. Bryan Brady will focus on on-farm quality assurance techniques and practices, while the FSIC will talk about some of the services they offer such as nutrition labeling, sensory analysis, etc.
Because this is a follow-up training, this Adv. Topic is meant for people who have attended a MarketReady Producer Training Session. However, any producers and/or growers may attend this virtual training.
Each training will be limited to 30 participants -- so be sure to register soon! You may register up to 24 hours prior to the training date.

Location: This training will take place virtually via Zoom. The Zoom link will be emailed out with your registration confirmation.
Cost: This training is free for producers to attend! We do ask you to please RSVP with the link below.
