Join us for the MarketReady Adv. Topic: Marketing!

Training Information: The MarketReady Adv. Topic: Marketing is a follow-up training that takes a deep dive into the marketing business function. Marketing is a key part of your farm business. Marketing helps consumers become aware of your product and recognize your brand.

This virtual Adv. Topic will focus on frequently asked questions about marketing, feature Jonathan Van Balen from the Kentucky Department of Agriculture [KDA] and Merrick Johnson from Good Foods Co-op as our special guest speakers, and have a portion of time dedicated to questions from participants and/or open conversations. Jonathan will be covering some of the marketing cost-share opportunities the KDA has to offer and Merrick will be talking about local product promotion and marketing in the local grocery setting.

Because this is a follow-up training, this Adv. Topic is meant for people who have attended a MarketReady Producer Training Session. However, any producers and/or growers may attend this virtual training.
