Lisa Portas is a New Zealand Nuffield International Scholar, conducting research on commodity products from the primary industries, including wool, and how to generate profit for higher micron wool farmers through various means, including accreditation, certification, carbon credits, technology and manufacturing, supply chain efficiency, and marketing. She will be visiting Kentucky and the Lexington area on July 17th and 18th. All AEC faculty and staff are invited to attend our reception with Lisa at the Woodford County Extension office on July 17th from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. Food will be provided.
